In the VLSI Research Customer Satisfaction Survey, users of semiconductor capital equipment are asked to rate their suppliers in thirteen categories that exemplify a supplier's product performance and relationship with its customers, including cost of ownership, uptime, software, hardware quality, quality of results, process support, field engineering support, technical leadership, service after sales, and overall commitment to supporting customer needs.
