Tester System Software for the T2000 SOC Test System
TSS Introduction
- TSS runs on the Windows operating system. Designed as a flexible modular system: TSS is designed in the OPENSTAR Standard and utilizes the OTPL (OPENSTAR Test Programming Language). Watch Introduction Video.
TSS Test Control Panel
- The test control panel is the system's primary user interface. The intuitive easy-to-use interface integrates and organizes all of the other necessary features and tools. Watch Test Control Panel Video.
- Easily set production/characterization mode
- Integrated pull down menu of entire suite of digital, mixed signal, and RF debug tools
- Console Window displays datalog, test results, general messaging
- Load/Unload a test program
- Organizes Environment and Socket file (maps tester resources to device pins)
TSS Flow Tool
- The test flow editor graphically displays all of the test instances (individual tests applied to a particular device) that are executed during run time.
- Each test instance is color coded indicating pass/fail/do not execute, etc. The user can highlight one or more test instances at any given time that he wishes to focus on during execution. Watch Test Flow Editor Video.
- When the program reaches those highlighted test instances, the code is automatically displayed in the Visual Studio environment for debugging/editing purposes. Watch Video on How to Suspend a Test Video.
- Integrated Pattern List Editor
- Integrated Pattern Cycle Editor
Logic Analyzer
- TSS also has an integrated Logic Analyzer that is intuitive and easy to use. All of the tools are Smart Tools. That is, they are integrated together and seamlessly share data so that the test/product engineer can focus on trouble shooting/analyzing in a much more efficient and productive manner. Watch Logic Analyzer Video.
Multiple Time Domain Programming
-
The T2000 SOC system and TSS fully support multiple time domains. The integrated pattern cycle viewer simultaneously displays all time domains. The pattern cycle editor synchronizes data across all time domains and will automatically synchronize the selected timing interval across all selected pins. Watch Pattern Cycle Editor Video.
Test Condition Manager/Editor
System Editor
-
The System Editor tool can be used to directly reprogram any register value of the installed hardware modules. The system editor tool provides an excellent global graphical perspective of all of the hardware at any instant. Watch Test System Editor Video.
Sync Scope Tool
-
The Sync Scope Tool enables the user to utilize the system's internal oscilloscope to verify signals on various pins of the test head. This built-in GUI o-scope tool is easy to use and dramatically reduces troubleshooting and debug time. Watch Sync Scope Tool Video.
