TOKYO, Japan, July 3rd, 2007 – Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857, NYSE: ATE), has published its 2007 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, an annual report on the group’s CSR activities in fiscal 2006.
The Advantest Group has published annual Sustainability/Environmental reports since 2000, providing commentary on the results of its activities regarding company management, social responsibility and environmental conservation, as well as examining future issues to be tackled. From this fiscal year, the report formerly known as the “Sustainability Report” has been renamed the “CSR Report,” and offers details of activities particularly relevant to each stakeholder group (customers, shareholders and investors, suppliers, the local community and employees).
The CSR Report also represents Advantest’s commitment to earning the trust of the public, which it aims to do by expanding activities that contribute to the good of society and by making its policies regarding such topics publicly available through the Report.

A separate chapter covers corporate activities relating to each particular stakeholder group, giving detailed examples of Advantest’s efforts in these areas. So that readers can identify more closely with the content, comments from stakeholders and employees are also included.

In order to make the results of Advantest’s endeavors clear to readers, statistics have been quantified where possible, using diagrams and graphs.
