Advantest's Standard Warranty includes :

  • On-Site repair
  • Normal Module Exchange (NME)
  • Advanced Module Exchange (AME)
  • Preventive Maintenance (Option)
  • Test System Calibration
  • Telephone Consultation

After the warranty period is over, a CMA (Cooperative Maintenance Agreement) can be purchased which covers all parts, travel, and labor under normal working hours (Consumable parts are not covered). The CMA is designed to allow you to choose those options which fits best to your operation.

Module Exchanges

Advantest has two module exchange programs. The Normal Module Exchange (NME) plan enables customers to replace defective modules with one from their on-site spares kit. The defective board is then sent in for repair and returned once completed. The Advanced Module Exchange (AME) program is for customers who need a replacement part now and cannot wait for the repair of a part. Advantest CE's can help you decide which plan is best for you!

Preventative Maintenance

The Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedure includes cleaning, adjusting, inspecting, calibrating, and verifying of system operation and is performed once a year. This is an option in the Cooperative Maintenance Agreement and depending on your needs can be selected as Basic or Full.

Test System Calibration

Test System Calibration (or NIST Calibrations) are test system timing and measurement calibrations that are traceable to the National Bureau of Standards which is traceable to the global standard of Bureau I des Poid et Mesures and confirms the accuracy of the system. By confirming at one global source, system measurements are more accurate to each other worldwide.
