Advantest Sponsors Event to Raise Awareness of Visual Impairment

On October 20th, 2018, Advantest Korea Co., Ltd.（ATK）sponsored the 36th “Disabilities are normal!” festival held in Cheonan, donating a portion of the rental cost of the tents set up at the venue. Employees also participated as volunteer staff on the day.

This event aims to improve awareness of visual impairment among citizens and participants. At the venue, there were opportunities to undertake a simulation of visual impairment, and equipment used by the visually impaired was exhibited. About 600 people visited. The experience deepened visitors’ understanding of the challenges that the visually impaired face on a daily basis.

The Advantest Group will continue to proactively participate in our local communities to fulfill our social responsibility.
