General notice of Rights to Individuals which are subject to the GDPR

Legal basis for data processing according to the GDPR:

If we ask for your consent to the relevant use of your Personal Data, the legal basis for processing this Data is Article. 6 para 1 lit. a GDPR.

If processing of your Personal Data concerns the conclusion or performance of a contract, Article 6 para 1 lit. b GDPR provides the legal basis for processing your data.

We process your data pursuant Article 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR insofar as the processing is necessary for the purposes of our or a third party legitimate interests, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of Personal Data. Such processing on the basis of legitimate interests may be necessary in particular for providing services (e.g. errorfree and secure presentation of our website or other services), the purpose of answering your inquiries, management, process optimization and organization.

For various services, which are accessible through our website or otherwise for conducting the business relationship, it is necessary that you provide us with certain Personal Data, otherwise, we will not be able to provide the service or conduct the business relationship.

 

We do not make any automated decisions based on your personal data, including profiling.

Your rights (Art. 15 et seq. GDPR)

We would like to inform you about your rights regarding the processing of your Personal Data.

You have the right of access to your Personal Data under Article 15 GDPR, the right of rectification of inaccurate Personal Data under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to be forgotten under Article 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR as well as the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR.

Revocation of your consent (Art. 7 para 3 GDPR)

If you give your consent regarding the processing of your Personal Data (e.g. subscription to a newsletter), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. If you wish to withdraw your given consent, please send your objection to the contact details mentioned above or where mentioned when we inform you before you give your consent.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your Personal Data which is based on Article 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR. We will no longer process the Personal Data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or grounds for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

In case of processing Personal Data for direct marketing purposes and your objection, the Personal Data shall no longer be processed for such purposes.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Registration for the customer web portal We process your data pursuant to Article 6 para 1 lit. b GDPR and Article 6 para 1 lit. f. GDPR.
When you click "Register" we additionally collect your IP address and the date and time of submission. This helps us to prevent misuse of the registration form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
We also have a legitimate interest to process your data to comply with legal or regulatory obligations e.g. screening against sanction lists.
The IP address will be deleted or anonymized after a period of seven days at the latest.

Subscription to the GO SEMI & BEYOND Newsletter We ask you for your consent to the relevant use of your Personal Data to send you a newsletter. In such cases, the legal basis for processing this Data is that you have consented (Article. 6 para 1 lit. a GDPR).
Data transfer and disclosure of Personal Data In case of a legitimate business purpose to disclose or transfer Personal Data from the European Union outside of the European Union, we will always make sure that appropriate safeguards are in place.
