TOKYO, Japan – February 15, 2021 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) today announced that the Fukushima-ken Oki (Fukushima Prefecture Offshore) earthquake, which struck northern Japan on February 13th at around 23:08 JST, has had no impact on its business activities at present.

All employees at Advantest's office in Sendai, and their families, have been confirmed safe. In addition, there was no damage to the company's facilities or equipment in the region, and normal operations resumed from February 15th.

Advantest will promptly disclose any significant impact on its supply chain that may appear in the future.
