Advantest Named "Industry Mover 2021" in S&P Global Sustainability Awards

TOKYO, Japan – February 16, 2021 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) today announced that it has been selected for the first time for inclusion in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2021, which recognizes companies with ESG evaluation scores within the top 15% of their industries. In addition, the company has been awarded Industry Mover status in the S&P Global Sustainability Awards, as Advantest recorded the strongest year-on-year score improvement in its industry.

S&P Global publishes the Sustainability Yearbook annually, evaluating the sustainability of companies around the world from the perspectives of economy, the environment, and society. This year, for the first time, the Yearbook also includes the 'S&P Global Sustainability Awards'. 50 companies, including Advantest, were named "Industry Movers"--a distinction awarded to the world’s highest-performing sustainable companies out of more than 7,000 companies in 61 industries.
