Advantest Donates JPY90,000,000 to Front-Lines Medical Workers

Support for Covid-19 Response

TOKYO, Japan – March 4, 2021 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) today announced that it has donated a total of JPY90,000,000 for the purpose of supporting health care workers on the front lines of Japan's Covid-19 response.

The donations were made to the following 6 organizations:

Advantest selected these medical associations and nursing associations because they are located in the prefectures where the company has facilities, and because they are able to specify how donations will be used. The specific amount of each donation was proportional to the number of Advantest employees in each prefecture. Through these donations, the company hopes to support activities that prevent the spread of new Covid-19 infections, as a contribution to the goal of returning to normal as soon as possible.

The company also expressed deep sympathies to those who have lost loved ones to Covid-19, and warm wishes that all those affected by the pandemic may soon recover.
