T2000 IPSE RDK Training

Summary

Training Course Title T2000 IPSE RDK Training
Duration 10 days
Prerequisites
  • Understanding of electronic device/circuitry
  • Fundamental semiconductor device test knowledge
  • Solid SW knowledge, preferably C/C++ programming
  • Windows 10 environment basics
Learning objective

Enable students to create semiconductor test programs on the T2000 IPS/IPSE test platform under TSS software with help of MS Visual Studio used as Test Program IDE. The focus of this training is also to learn how to create effective power and automotive device applications by using T2000 IPS(E) instruments.

The intent is to provide the skills required to utilize the T2000 IPS(E) Tester Platform as an integral tool in the engineering and production flows of semiconductor device manufacturing. The students will also understand the concept of testing in the power domain, the T2K IPS(E) modules and their capabilities. Students will learn how to program typical power and automotive testing methods using the IPS(E) modules by applying "real life" power setups for simple RC-circuitries used as training test devices.

The "golden" test program, including some typical Automotive tests based on Trainers' experience, is delivered at the end of training to be a valuable reference for the students in their own "power automotive adventure" after the training.

After completion the student will be familiar with the following:

  • Key concepts and components of the T2000 system, including specific in the power domain
  • Link between Tester HW resources and device pins in the TP
  • RDK programming style with all necessary elements to create DC/Functional tests including levels, timing, and patterns
  • Fair experience with many T2000 Graphical User Interface Tools (Logging, Block Diagrams, Shmoo, Wave Scope, Statistical Analysis, etc.)
  • Key features and components of the T2000 IPS(E) Instruments (MMXHE, MFHPE, GPWGD, MPCM)
  • T2000 parallel debug capability experience (multisession feature) for highest efficiency in a tester utilization during engineering work
Software version TSS 4.04_05 (or higher) + MS Visual Studio 2010 (or higher)
