V93000 SmarTest 7 Port Scale RF Programming Training

Summary

Type Instructor-Led training conducted over sequential days during normal business hours (not eLearning)
Delivery Formats Offered in both "Classroom" and "Live, On-Line" formats
Price $525 per class-day The use of Training Credits requires validation by Student's Advantest Sales contact
Class Duration 5 days
Target Audience The target audience for this course are RF Test Engineers who will be using the SmarTest 7 V93000 for RF test program generation, debug, chararaterization and production test. This course can also be useful to those engineers who work with Test Engineers such as Product, Quality Assurance, Failure Analysis and Design engineers.
Prerequisites V93000 SmarTest 7 RDI-based Digital User Training and V93000 SmarTest 7 Mixed Signal User Training,
Test Engineering basics, RF test basics, Linux, and C++
Expected Outcomes Upon completion, the student will be familiar with the PortScale RF Instrument Cards and be able to create SmarTest 7 RF Projects including RF waveform creation, capture and analysis. They will also understand the concept of RF Data, Stimulus and Mesurement setup files (used to configure the PortScale RF tester instruments), associated sequencer groups and C++ RF Test Methods. The student will also know how to execute RF test suites and test flows in normal mode and debug mode, and to use the SmarTest 7 tools to analyze test setups and debug common RF Test failure modes. The student will also know the common APIs used to create, edit and execute their C++ Test Methods for RF Tests. Additionally the student will know how to create and view Time Domain and Frequency Domain waveforms with the Signal Analyzer Tool. Lastly, the student will also have learned the basics of how to demodulate complex I/Q waveforms using both the Signal Analyzer Tool and C++ Test Methods.
