Summary

Course type Instructor-Led training conducted over sequential days during normal business hours (not eLearning)
Delivery Formats Offered in both "Classroom" and "Live, On-Line" formats
Price $525 per class-day The use of Training Credits requires validation by Student's Advantest Sales contact
Class Duration 4.5 to 5 days
Target Audience Test and Product engineers who will be responsible for constructing or modifying T2000 Applications and Test programs using the OTPL environment.
Prerequisites
  • Fundamental knowledge of device test, and the types of tests used by the student’s test group.
  • Fundamental knowledge of ATE tester hardware components and operations, including pin electronics, power supplies, parametric measurement units, and pattern generation.
  • Object-Oriented Programming Basics.
  • Fundamental Knowledge of Visual Studio
  • Windows operating environment & DOS.
Expected Outcomes
  • How to transfer the device specifications and performance requirements to program functions.
  • Analyze how new inline coding of objects simplifies test programming.
  • How to load and execute test programs on the T2000 Test System.
  • How to condition the tester to alter test execution.
  • How to set-up the tester to monitor test results, analyze data and respond to these results.
  • How various software tools are used to aid in program development, as well as device analysis.
  • How to debug device programs using Visual Studio.
  • In order to test a device, the engineer must be able to create a device program, load and execute the test program, and analyze the test results.
  • To create the test program, the engineer must be familiar with the environment and operating system in which the program is created.
  • This requires a basic knowledge of the tools or applications used to construct programs, the programming language, the types of tests required, plus the specific tester hardware components required for each of these tests.
