The prerequisites for this training include a solid understanding of electronic devices and circuitry, along with fundamental knowledge of semiconductor device testing. Participants should have strong software skills, preferably in Java or C++ programming; for Java basics. Familiarity with the Linux environment and basic Linux programming is also required. Additionally, students should understand the structure of SmarTest 8 test programs and possess basic XML syntax knowledge, which can be gained through resources such as the XML primer available at W3Schools.

Students will gain hands-on experience preparing a test cell setup for production testing using SmarTest 8 and its associated tools. Upon completion of the training, they will be familiar with releasing SmarTest 8 test programs to production, including the process and usage of workspaces.
