TOKYO, Japan—July 7, 2026—Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) today announced that it has been selected as a constituent stock of the SOMPO Sustainability Index, established by SOMPO Asset Management Co., Ltd., for the 10th consecutive year.
The SOMPO Sustainability Index selects approximately 300 companies each year based on a combination of ESG criteria—environmental, social, and governance—and equity value. The index is used for “SOMPO Sustainable Management,” an investment product for pension funds and institutional investors.
In its third mid-term management plan, Advantest has positioned “enhancing sustainability initiatives” as one of its key strategies. To promote sustainability, the company has established a Sustainability Policy and formulated its Sustainability Action Plan 2024–2026, which defines priority themes together with specific goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
