Advantest Selected for the First Time as a Constituent of the JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100

TOKYO, Japan—Aug.28, 2026—Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) today announced that it has been selected for the first time as a constituent of the "JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100," jointly calculated by JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. and Nikkei Inc. Following the latest periodic review, Advantest is scheduled to be included in the index effective August 31, 2026.

The JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100 is a stock price index launched in July 2025 with the aim of reflecting the stock price trends of companies that are advancing management practices with a focus on human capital. The index comprises 100 companies selected from the constituents of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 based on factors including their disclosures and initiatives related to human capital.
