TOKYO, Japan – May 2, 2016 – Advantest Corporation’s (TSE: 6857) 10th annual VOICE Developer Conference will feature dual sessions in the United States and Asia this month, presenting key players in the semiconductor test industry with opportunities to hear more than 120 technical presentations, talk with experts at technology kiosks, visit the Partners’ Expo, attend networking events and conduct in-depth discussions relating to Advantest’s broad range of IC test solutions.

The detailed VOICE 2016 technical program is available online at https://voice.advantest.com/technical-program. It features Advantest customers, partners and employees presenting papers on the latest advances in improving the efficiency and cost effectiveness of semiconductor testing. This year’s program will have more presentations than ever before covering: hot, timely topics in the automatic test equipment (ATE) industry, hardware design and integration, improving throughput, reducing time to market, new hardware and software test solutions, test methodologies, device-specific testing and – for the first time – a product engineering track. In addition to paper presentations, Advantest R&D engineers and technology experts will be available in kiosks to discuss other testing topics with interested attendees.

A keynote speech will be delivered each morning of the conference. The San Diego event will feature Michael Campbell, senior vice president of engineering for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies and the industry futurist who presented the inaugural VOICE keynote in 2006; and Yossi Ghinsberg, an international best-selling author whose harrowing experience surviving in the Amazon jungle is being made into a Hollywood movie. VOICE in Taiwan will feature Colley Hwang, president of the international information source Digitimes and former head of the Institute for Information Industry’s Market Intelligence Center.

VOICE attendees come from all over the world and include users and developers from integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), foundries, fabless semiconductor companies and outsource assembly and test (OSAT) houses as well as partners and suppliers.

The conference kicks off with a Welcome Reception on Monday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. On Tuesday, May 10, VOICE takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by an evening event at the iconic USS Midway.
