TOKYO, Japan – November 25, 2020 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) announced that it has received Class 2 Eruboshi certification from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
The Eruboshi certification system is based on the Act to Promote the Active Participation of Women in the Workplace, which came into effect in April 2016. Companies that meet the criteria for certification can apply to their prefectural labor bureau to receive the Eruboshi mark. Advantest has obtained Class 2 certification by satisfying the certification criteria in four categories: recruitment, continuous employment, female-friendly workstyles, and availability of diverse career paths.
Advantest will continue to promote the creation of workplaces where women can play an active role, while striving to be an attractive employer where employees with diverse backgrounds--regardless of sex--can maximize their potential and feel motivated to succeed.
