On November 4, Advantest participated in the charity bazaar at the 17th Meiwa Industry Festival held in Meiwa, Gunma Prefecture, where the Gunma R&D Center is located. The Meiwa Industry Festival is an event that aims to build fellowship among local people and people engaged in commerce and industry through sales of local products. Various pop-up shops were lined up at the venue, and fun events such as a pear peeling competition, photo ops with local characters, and a firefighting experience for children attracted a big crowd.

As a member of the Meiwa Labor Education Committee, which aims to promote industry and worker welfare, Advantest provided novelty products for the charity bazaar, and employees also volunteered to participate as salespeople. Happily, our offerings raised 63,000 yen, contributing greatly to total sales of 137,400 yen. The proceeds were donated to the Red Feather Community Chest.

Advantest will continue to participate actively in social contribution activities in the future.
