Announcement of ISO14001: 2015 Certification

TOKYO, Japan – December 20, 2017 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) has announced that it obtained ISO14001: 2015 certification on November 28, 2017, establishing compliance with the latest revision of the international environmental standard.

Since obtaining ISO14001: 1996 certification at its Gunma Factory in April 1998, Advantest has promoted products and services that take into account the whole lifecycle of the product, with an emphasis on energy saving, resource conservation, and recycling, as well as environmentally conscious manufacturing processes. The company is proactively engaged in conservation activities. Advantest continues to contribute to the sustainable development of society through its business activities by endeavoring to protect the environment, including the adoption of climate change countermeasures, biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable use of energy and water resources.
