San Jose Employees and Their Families Participate in Rebuilding Program; Folsom Office Holds Food Drive

On October 28th, employees from Advantest America, Inc. (AAI) volunteered to participate in a home-repair project "Rebuilding Day." This is a social contribution program organized by "Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley" that rehabilitates houses of low-income, senior, and disabled homeowners free of charge. AAI has been participating in this project since 2005.

This time, the program was held as the second collaboration with the organization LifeMoves, which provides interim housing and supportive services for homeless families and individuals to rapidly return to stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency.

AAI's volunteers were tasked with renovating the laundry room and back courtyard of one of the facilities. In the laundry room, tables and lockable storage were added. n the courtyard, a fence was built to create two separate areas -- in one section, large bike racks were built, and in the other, picnic tables were arranged. Additionally, the volunteers repaired the sprinkler system.

On November 10th, AAI’s Folsom office held a successful food drive. Employees donated 120 pounds (approx. 54kg) of food to Twin Lakes Food Bank.

AAI will continue to participate actively in social contribution activities in the future.
