Back Advantest Chosen as Member of SNAM Sustainability Index for 2nd Consecutive Year

TOKYO, Japan – July 12, 2018 – Leading semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857) has been selected for the second consecutive year as a member of the SNAM Sustainability Index compiled by Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Asset Management (SNAM). The SNAM Sustainability Index is based on a combination of ESG (environmental, social, governance) assessments and stock valuation.

SNAM reviews the constituent stocks of the index every year, and uses it for "SNAM Sustainable Operation," a medium-to long-term investment strategy that is intended not to be affected by market price fluctuations.

Advantest has been committed to environmental conservation activities for many years. The company actively promotes energy-saving, resource-saving, and easily recyclable products, and purchases electricity generated by wind power.
