                | Class Duration | 1 day |

                | Target Audience | The target audience for this course are RF Test Engineers who
will be using the V93000 for RF test program generation,
debug, characterization and production test. This course can
also be useful to those engineers who work with Test Engineers
such as Product, Quality Assurance, Failure Analysis and
                  Design engineers. |

                | Prerequisites | V93000 SmarTest 8 Basic User Training, V93000 SmarTest 8 Wave
Scale MX and RF Programming Training, Test Engineering basics,
Mixed-Signal and RF test basics, Linux, and Java. (Note:
SmarTest 7 training is not applicable towards the
                  prerequisites) |

                | Expected Outcomes | After completion of this course the student will be familiar
with the WaveScale 18 GHz RF Instrument Card hardware and
software and be able to create Smartest 8 MX/RF Projects
including RF waveform creation, capture and analysis. They
will also understand the concept of RF setup files (used to
configure RF tester instruments), associated operating
sequences and Java Test Methods. The student will also know
how to execute RF test suites and test flows in normal mode
and debug mode, and to use the Smartest tools to analyze test
setups and debug common RF Test failure modes. The student
will also know the common APIs used to create, edit and
execute their Java Test Methods for RF Tests. Additionally the
student will know how to create and view Time Domain and
Frequency Domain waveforms with the Signal Analyzer Tool.
Lastly, the student will also have learned the basics of how
to demodulate complex I/Q waveforms using both the Signal
Analyzer Tool and Java Test Methods. |
