The Porter Prize judges also highlighted that Advantest has contributed globally to the semiconductor value chain through the smooth integration of cross-regional mergers and acquisitions and an internal collaboration system that cuts across regional and departmental boundaries.
The company has also contributed to improving test accuracy and test efficiency by providing customers with one-stop test solutions in the form of test cells that integrate semiconductor testers, handlers, and peripherals.
Additionally, Advantest has introduced product-specific marginal profit rate management and ROIC management at the business division level, localized and delegated authority to the heads of overseas subsidiaries, created global teams for internal functions, and organized multinational management meetings.
The award ceremony will be held at the 2024 Porter Prize Competitiveness Conference, scheduled for December 9, 2024, at Hitotsubashi Hall.
In line with Advantest’s commitment to “be the most trusted and valued test solution company in the semiconductor value chain,” the company will continue to seek innovative ways to contribute to global sustainability and corporate value growth over the medium to long term.
