Three operating facilities of the Advantest Group in Japan participated in cleaning projects as part of the events during the Environment Month in June.

On June 2nd, nine employees from the Kitakyushu R&D Center (Yahatahigashi-ku, Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka-ken) participated in an environmental event, called “Endorsed by the Company President: Proud to Pick Up Garbage,” hosted by the Yahata Higashida Town Development Network (Yahata Higashida Machizukuri Renrakukai). The Advantest employees, together with other participants from forty companies and organizations, spent about one and a half hours from ten o'clock in the morning to collect twenty bags of cans. This activity was also published on the Nishinippon Shimbun.

On June 4th, Gunma Factory No.2 (Ora-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma-ken) took part in a cleaning activity around the facility. Nine employees at the facility used the pre-working hours to pick up garbage and pull out weeds. They collected approximately 180kg of garbage.

On June 17th, fifty employees, including new employees and the executives, of the Gunma R&D Center (Meiwa-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma-ken) participated in clean-up activities on the roads near the facility and the areas around the irrigation channel. They collected twenty bags of garbage.

The Advantest Group will continue to be part of our community's environmental preservation activities by increasing our employees' awareness for the environment and by beautifying our community.
