Following last year, the Advantest Customer Support (ACS) located in the Gunma No. 2 Factory held a cherry-blossom viewing event for the elderly in the nursing and healthcare facility in our neighborhood again this year.
This activity started from last year, and the participants from the facility requested that they “want to view the cherry blossoms again this year.” The event was held for two days on April 6th and April 8th, and approximately seventy facility residents and the staff members participated in the event this year. They took photos and walked around under the cherry blossoms in full bloom and enjoyed their day in their own way. The property of the Gunma No. 2 Factory has a street lined with approximately fifty cherry trees. The cherry blossoms on those trees bloom at the same time in spring and delight the eye of our employees and the neighbors.
ACS hopes to plan other events that can bring joys to our neighbors and contribute to our community again in the future.
