On March 9th, Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (ASP) made a donation of S$1,072.50 (70,000 Yen approximately) to the School Pocket Money Fund.

The School Pocket Money Fund was initiated on Children's Day on October 1st, 2000, and it supports children from low-income families, who have difficulties in attending schools. It currently helps more than 8,000 children with their school lives.

When ASP moved to a new office, it was found out that some of its old, used furniture was not able to fit into the office space. So, as part of its CSR activities, ASP decided to hold an internal bazaar of the used furniture and to donate the proceeds from sales to a charitable organization. The employees at ASP supported the objectives and were eager to purchase the furniture. As a result, ASP was able to donate S$1,072.50 to the School Pocket Money Fund.

Through these activities this time, we were able to protect our resources, as well as contributing to our society, by utilizing the furniture in good condition effectively instead of discarding it.
